The following is a brief description of how to use UL’s website to acquire Listing cards.

1. Go to http://database.ul.com/cgi-bin/XYV/template/LISEXT/1FRAME/index.htm

2. Type a model in the box next to Keyword

****You can also type a company name, part number, file number, etc.****

NOTE: Some problems you may encounter are:

a. Dashes and spaces may be an issue. [i.e. VISTA-128FB or VISTA 128FB]

b. Partial descriptions sometimes exist. [i.e. VISTA-128FB may not give you all Listed categories for that product. If you type 128FB also, you will get one additional that didn’t appear on the original search of the Vista-128FB - There are only a few of these that act in this manner].

3. The results of your search will bring you to another screen with selections in blue, such as UOJZ.S789 [which represent: Category Control Number. File Number].

4. Select one of these blue descriptors and you will go directly to the Listing cards for that category.

NOTE: This selected document will include every UL Listing in that product category for that corresponding company.

5. Now you may view/print these pages.

UOJZ – Control Units Systems which means that you will be viewing the COMMERCIAL FIRE Listings;

FOR CANADIAN LISTINGS

UOJZ7or 8 – Control Units Systems which means that you will be viewing the COMMERCIAL FIRE Listings.

Step 1: Get the CSFM Certification number from the correlation sheet with corresponding Resideo part numbers.

GO TO CORRELATION SHEET and get CSFM Certification number

EXAMPLE: A VISTA-128FB Certification Number is 7165-1645:0123, where,

7165 is the Category Number 1645 is the Assigned Company Code 0123 is the Listing Index Number [sequential].

NOTE 1: The 1645 portion of the number is VERY Important.

Step 2: Once you’ve obtained the CSFM certificate number, go to Instructions on how to use CSFM’s search, below.

Step 1: Go to https://osfm.fire.ca.gov/divisions/fire-engineering-and-investigations/building-materials-listing/bml-search-building-materials-listing/

Step 2: Select “Resideo Security” for company name

Step 3: Click on SEARCH

Step 4: Select “desired certificate” for Listing

Step 1: Select the part’s category from the Sort by Categories option. (company and Listing options remain at “All Listings”)

Step 2: Click on SEARCH

Step 3: To find the desired part, click “Ctrl F” [FIND FEATURE] and enter the part number.

EXAMPLE: For 5193SD select 7272-Smoke Detector-Photoelectric from category and do search.

Enter 5193SD in the find feature window and click find. It will take you to certificate number 7272-1653:0210

The AlarmNet-i is used in our 7810ir, 7810ir-ent, 7845i, 7845i-ent and 8132 devices. The software module handles the encryption function for each product and is an encapsulated C++ module. 

For Triple DES Encryption - FIPS 46-3 approved.

Cert. # 195 for the AC Communicator model is described on the NIST site as:

The AC Communicator Module (P/N 472491D3) is used to encrypt and transmit security system data over public telephone line, RS232 and DVAC to proprietary central station automation equipment.
